Edie is a fourth generation Texan, originally from George West, Texas.  She still owns a small ranch there.
She came to Austin in April 1986, fell in love with the hills of Central Texas and decided to move here.  Since moving to Austin, Edie has worked for the State of Texas, for a Natural Gas Corporation and for the last fourteen years as a licensed REALTOR.
The mother of three children, Laura,  Lynn, and Larry,  with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who call her "Gammie."
Edie is an athlete, having played Women's and Co-ed Softball for 24 years of her life.  She also enjoys dancing, and I have heard tell, she's very good at it.  Reading is also a favorite.
